What was your purpose behind starting to coach architects?
I’ve always loved helping people achieve their goals in life, and personal coaching is my way of giving something back to the world. As a self-made entrepreneur, I’ll always remember what it was like to start out with nothing and how much of a difference it makes to have someone by your side helping you through the hard times. With my coaching, I can offer that support to new architecture business owners, academics and individuals looking to branch out. I am happy to use my skills and experiences to help architects improve their lives and build better, happier futures.
What makes you a cut above the rest?
Aside from being one of the world’s leading business coaches for Architects and a serial entrepreneur with a successful online business, I was also once just like you. I know exactly what it was like to start out with nothing, and that shared experience gives me a special bond with every one of my students. I don’t just work for profits. I work because I truly care about my students and want to give them the opportunities I never had when I was starting out.
I would like to start my own business. Do you have any suggestions?
Do you know the reason why 80% of all start-ups fail? Because they don’t have a good strategy. I know more than most how much of a part failure has to play in the entrepreneurial journey, but I want each of my students to learn from my mistakes. In each of my courses, I provide full A-Z guides on how to build online businesses from nothing while avoiding the most common mistakes made by first-time business owners.
What is your goal for the future?
Expansion is always at the top of my list when pushing forward. I want to keep on helping more architects around the world learn the skills they need to pursue their dreams and build better lives. As my publications continue to reach more and more people, I want to continue developing strong relationships with my clients, which prove I’m succeeding in my mission to help architects find their feet on the path to success.
